Beautiful Costa Calida Beaches Within Walking Distance
The Costa Calida lies between the Costa Blanca and Costa Almeria. The area known as Murcia enjoys on average, 315 days of sunshine every year and has an average temperature of 17 degrees. The Murcia region remains largely unspoiled with many beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.
The nearest town of Los Alcazares is set on the Mar Menor, the largest natural seawater lagoon in europe. With it's promenade stretching for 8km, the local beaches are fantastic having won the Q awards for excellence & safety.
The Costa Calida not only boasts the largest salt-water lagoon in Europe with temperatures far higher than any other resort on the Mediterranean, it is also renowned for the healing effect from the salts deposited along the beach coast which are known to contain therapeutic remedies for particular ailments. Mud baths are also located in the area which are famously known for their healthy reviving properties.
