About the area
The resort is only a 5 minute drive from Mar Menor with its 7km of flat promenades, fabulous beaches and the centre of Los Alcazares. This is a typically spanish town with many delightful restaurants, tapas bars, banking, supermarkets and shops, or if you fancy a touch of english there are also a few english bars in the town.

Roda Golf and Beach Resort is located 5 minutes from Murcia (St Javier) airport and approximately 45 minutes from Alicante Airport. A number of airlines fly into the area including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and British Midland, making the resort accessible from anywhere in the UK.

Local Travel
Having a hire car will help you make the most of your holiday. Car, motorbike and bike hire is also available in the town of Los Alcazares. The landscape of the area is mostly flat, so this is an ideal location for cycling holidays.
Roda Golf Los Alcazares is less then a 5 minute drive away. Alicante, Cartegena and Murcia are all around 40/45 minutes drive. The railway station which is only a 5 minute drive away offers connections to Madrid and Barcelona if you would like to venture further afield. The La Manga strip is also only a short drive and here you have the choice of the Mediterranean beaches and water sports.
